I recently needed personalised help and attendance at a property in Portishead to address a number of issues. James enabled this to happen in a very professional manner, with particular attention paid to quality against cost.
Without this help the agency costs to not only administer the work, but also pay unknown external contractors would have been extremely high, with little attention to detail.
For any bespoke management services including repairs, renovation and maintenance I would highly recommend this service.

We also asked him to paint the front door at short notice which he fitted into the schedule.

James completely redecorated our 5 bedroomed house and also pressure washed and stained a very large area of decking. This was a big job that he did single-handedly to a very high standard. We were particularly pleased with his attention to detail. Excellent service and very competitively priced. James is very knowledgeable and friendly and very accommodating as we had to change dates several times. Would definitely recommend, we’ve already booked him in for another job.

James carried out repairs and repainting to my external wooden stairs, including replacement slats/steps and balusters. It was an extensive job with difficult access, for which he provided a competitive quote, and carried out the work with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail. He is honest, tidy, and reliable with high standards of work.
I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends, or ask him to do further work in my own home in the future.

Portishead Painting has just completed a week’s work at our home: painting the kitchen, a bedroom, and other jobs we thought of during the week, including putting up two blinds and tile grouting. We were completely satisfied with everything James did, his approach, standard of work, punctuality and tidying-up after each stage of work were excellent. We have already arranged for him to paint the outside of our house later in the year.

We live at Tarragon Place and would 100% recommend James and Portishead Painting. We have a small child and dog and James was very professional and conscientious throughout in terms of how to prepare and paint walls in the best way for minimal disruption. He was able to come and quote straight away, we were booked in the next day and he started and finished in the week we agreed. His quote was very competitive. We have since booked James back in to paint the front and back external frames and doors in a couple of weeks time

“After he had repainted our kitchen and a bedroom, we asked James of Portishead Painting, if he could give us a quote for staining the exterior windows of our bungalow. This was fair and reasonable, and James has just completed the work. He did an extremely thorough preparation of all the exterior woodwork, and interior in some rooms where he carefully protected the carpets and furnishings, and applied two coats - three in more vulnerable areas - of a carefully chosen wood stain. He made helpful suggestions, and worked very carefully and quickly, keeping us well informed of his work schedule which, as it was mainly exterior work, obviously had to allow for the weather. We are totally pleased with the finished result. Thank you.”

He attended to all the wall and woodwork prep; ensured that carpet and other items were properly protected, worked swiftly and with an excellent attention to detail. James provided us with a detailed estimate prior to starting the job; a very good estimate of the amount of paint required, maintained good communication throughout on a daily basis (we were away)including images and emailed his final invoice on completion.
